Consent is the format
Both people prepare separately and set what is off limits before anything is filmed. Either can end it. Recording is asked about afterwards, and if either declines, nothing is used.
No ambush television
Nobody is brought into a room without knowing who they will be sitting across from. There are no surprise reunions and no stunt reveals.
